Economic Impact of Landscape Visitor Centre

New Skills is delighted to have been appointed jointly by Northumberland National Park Authority and the Youth Hostels Association to undertake an economic impact assessment of ‘The Sill’, an inspiring new visitor centre and landscape project that will provide a physical Gateway to more than 1,000 square kilometres of beautiful Northumberland countryside.

We’ve teamed up with The KSA Partnership to deliver the assignment, bringing together two businesses rooted in the North East, with an active interest in rural sustainable development and the wider economic development of the region.

The assessment will help shape the development of ‘The Sill’ and demonstrate its potential to create jobs and income for the local economy. To find out more about ‘The Sill’ go to http://northumberlandnationalpark.org.uk/lookingafter/projects/thesill
