Our people

Claire is an experienced and creative marketing professional with a strong track record in marketing strategy, planning and delivery. Her life before New Skills included senior roles in the education, training and skills sector, where she managed research, product development, branding and marketing activities.

Claire enjoys using her know-how to help clients understand their markets, communicate with customers and respond to new opportunities. Her experience is also put to good use in our research and evaluation work, where she has managed projects for a range of clients including training providers, enterprise agencies, private businesses and not-for-profit organisations. She has strong analytical skills and is particularly good at using research insights to develop new strategies, improve services and design effective marketing campaigns.

Previous posts include Director of Marketing at Creating Careers Ltd and Marketing & Operations Manager at Newcastle College Company. Claire has a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Management. She is also a trained business mentor and a member of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs.
