Raising Enterprise North Tyneside

New Skills has been appointed by North Tyneside Council to evaluate Raising Enterprise North Tyneside, a programme that encourages local residents to generate business ideas, supports new businesses to start, and helps businesses to become established and grow. This latest assignment adds to our already substantial track record of evaluating local enterprise and business support projects.
We are working alongside Richardson Howarth LLP on this study. Between us, our organisations have a rich history of enterprise development, delivery and evaluation, and we are committed to supporting services that improve economic and enterprise conditions in the North East.
The evaluation offers a timely opportunity to inform future delivery of the Raising Enterprise Programme, at a time when a lack of job vacancies is leading more people to consider starting a business. The evaluation will also assess the tangible impacts achieved by local people and businesses as a result of the support, and provide practical recommendations for future enterprise strategy in North Tyneside.
